Regular Jobs Vs Home Based Jobs

Almost all of you would have been into at least one regular job and some of you might not have proceeded onto work in a regular job for long for various reasons, while some of us might still slog out our everyday monotonous chores in limited spaces called offices. Of course, there are some benefits in working in an office and some of us might really like being in an office.

Taking up a job may depend upon circumstances but eventually, proceeding on with your jobs is dictated by your hearts! Some of us adapt whereas others repel or worst case, rebel. There are two sets of arguments supporting perseverance or persistence and contrastingly, working on free will, breaking away from the routine and working your own way forward!

Let us look into some of the positive and negative arguments on either side to arrive at conclusions and decision making on what to choose for our own lives

Who earns more money

Money is very vital for survival and neither side wants to compromise on earning money. The aspiration on both the sides is invariably oriented towards money though there may be alternative priorities against this assumption.

But then, there is an old theory of getting educated in top most universities and getting a starting package of what equals 25 years of service in government offices. But the question looms on the consideration for drop-outs, people who got lesser education due to financial constraints and others who can only be average in studies any given day.

Here, the self-employed freelance business owner or the home based business owner takes up multiple projects and attempts to earn more money. It is also said that freelancers are more talented than regular job goers.

Who commands high Social Status?

Here, the home based business owner definitely loses out. The regular worker becomes the sole winner of this round by unanimous consensus. He commands high in the society. In some cases, a regular job is one that is considered more vital than the money that is earned through a job.

Who is under more pressure?

In this case, the term freelancer might trick you into thinking that a home based business owner is not under much pressure. This observation is partly true. But the fact remains that a freelancer also struggles to put up with the pressure he faces from the (multiple) employers.

A freelancer or a home based business owner also feels that he has to face strict deadlines. Nevertheless, he is happy as long as there is no one else to tweak him a little and he is the one who has to tweak himself.

Who learns a lot and quick?

A home based business owner enjoys decision making, makes mistakes and learns more quickly than a regular job goer. It might seem that a regular job goer learns more. But due to lesser adventurous habits and adaptability to herd behavior, a regular job worker stagnates in learning and goes about finishing his job within deadlines set by managers.

Home Based business owners and freelancers, on the other hand, have the luxury of outsourcing their work when they pile up. This feature is hardly available in a regular job. Being adventurous and enterprising, Home based workers learn more quickly to escape problems and start to concentrate on developing themselves.

Conclusively, judgments are not passed but are made by knowing facts and opinions on various issues. Judgments are made by people and everything else around is mere stimulation!
